Rev. Emily Hartlief

Minister, North Shore Unitarian Church, Vancouver BC

Susan will be an excellent UUA president. As a young women entering this ministry, she was a great inspiration to me, even though we had never met. When we did meet at a clergy gathering, she was warm, approachable and thoughtful. She took time with me individually, offering support and honest reflection. She has the integrity, humility and wisdom to lead us to continue to cross borders, open our hearts, forge new partnerships and extend sanctuary to those in need.
