Affiliate Minister, River Road Unitarian Universalist Congregation, Bethesda, MD
I watched the panel presentation by the three candidates for UUA president that was held at Cedar Lane UU Church. I listened with an open mind, not having pre-determined which candidate I would vote for. I am clear now that Susan Frederick-Gray would provide the mature, value-laden vision that our denomination needs at this perilous time in our national history. She ‘has her feet on the ground,’ speaking as she does about the special faith contribution our denomination can offer to the members of our congregations and to the larger public. I thought she spoke with empathy, sensitivity and wisdom. I will be going to General Assembly to do what I can to speak on behalf of her candidacy.
